Distrito TEC in Monterrey

The new Masterplan for Distrito TEC in Monterrey has been unveiled: MIC collaborated with Sasaki Associates for the Itesm Campus redevelopment, a 500.000 USD project in a 15-20 years scenario.

The aim of MIC-HUB’s study is centered on the creation of a rich and sustainable urban environment through the optimization of public realm and reduction of car dependency for the Tec de Monterrey population.

The master plan proposes a host of initiatives to promote a cultural shift in the Distrito, including a series of different strategies from short term “quick wins” that have quick implementation turnaround, to longer term strategic visions.
