The Tirana Boulevard Opening: Infrastructure and Public Space

MIC-HUB has the pleasure of supporting Grimshaw in defining the road layout and design of the Tirana Boulevard and the surrounding masterplan. The Tirana Boulevard, which first segment has recently opened to public at the presence of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, is the new urban corridor planned to offer a pedestrian-centred environment to the community, as well as a fundamental connection for the city-related movements. Public transport and private mobility, both motorized and non-motorized, will have a new infrastructure to support Tirana’s forthcoming mobility demand, also in relation to the masterplan designed by Grimshaw.
