Integrated transport and development strategy for Dar-es-Salaam

MIC-HUB is delighted to announce the completion of the first phase of the Integrated Transport & Land Use Planning Strategy  for BRT Phase 1 Corridor in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The aim of the commission is to prepare an integrated land use and transport plan to assess present land values and indicate justified scope for uplift of its catchments whilst optimizing the performance of investment in the corridor, as well as enhancing the city’s capacity and performance.

“The study of this unique city is a challenging opportunity and we are looking forward to contribute to the delivery of a Transit Oriented Development as a legacy framework and strategic plan for sustainable growth” says Kathrin Pinter, Project Leader at MIC-HUB.

MIC-HUB’s partner on the project include Broadway Malyan (Lead Consultant/Strategic Masterplanner), Aurecon (Infrastructure) and CoLab (Economic Strategy).
