MIC-HUB at City Vision, Padua

MIC-HUB is one of the partners of City Vision, the fifth edition of the General Status of Smart Cities, a major event dedicated to the transformation of territories.

 

Claudio Minelli, Partner and COO of MIC-HUB, will be among the speakers at the main event to be held at the Auditorium – Centro Culturale Altinate San Gaetano on Tuesday 22 October from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

 

He will present the topic ‘Urban planning and mobility, from established trends to the construction of new scenarios’ to open a discussion with administrators on urban planning and sustainability issues.

 

Afterwards, Claudio Minelli will chair the round table on ‘Mobility and Urban Flow Management’, an invitation-only event for public administrators.

 

Among the topics to be discussed: The future of mobility in Italy and Europe is slowing down; What are the alternatives to the private car?; Reducing traffic and making it safer requires investment as well as public participation and awareness.

 

Federico Parolotto, CEO of MIC-HUB, will present his book ‘Moving in a Narrow Space’ at the City Vision bookshop from 12.30 p.m., with Francesca Ponzecchi, founding partner of Blum, acting as moderator.

 

The General Status of Smart Cities events are an opportunity for public administration, business, academia and the research and innovation system to come together. An occasion to reflect on the challenges of urban life and discuss the future of our cities from different perspectives.
