MIC-HUB at Future4Cities Festival, Milan

We recently participated in the Future4Cities festival, an inspiring event organised by Will Media and From, held at BASE Milano.

As partner of the festival, MIC-HUB arranged an interesting workshop entitled ‘Mobility challenges in the contemporary city’, which brought together mobility experts and representatives from Italian municipalities.

During the workshop, experts from MIC-HUB shared their insights on the complexities of contemporary urban environments. They addressed the challenges that Italian municipalities are currently facing in promoting balance, inclusion and sustainability, from a need for tailored transport solutions to the integration of technology in urban planning.

The experts from MIC-HUB were:

Valentina Giacomelli, Project Leader of the Mobility Planning Team;

Claudio Minelli, Partner and COO;

Paolo Dejana, Senior Consultant of the Transport Modelling Team;

Federico Cicu, Director of the Transport Modelling Team;

Valerio Piroso, Director of the Infrastructure Design Team;

Francesco Betta, Project Leader of the Mobility Planning Team;

Federico Parolotto, CEO of MIC-HUB, introduced the workshop and moderated the event.

The workshop brought together more than 60 public bodies and urban professionals to explore scenarios for reconfiguring the spaces where people will reside, inhabit and move.

It was an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and generating actionable solutions.
